This policy explains what personal information Vistro Optic collects when you use this website, why we collect it and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email vistrooptique@gmail.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your email address, delivery address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought.
- If you create an account: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never in plain text), plus any addresses you save.
- If you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
- When you get in touch: whatever you choose to tell us in your email.
Camera try-on
If you choose to try frames on with your camera, your browser asks for your permission first. Your video is processed only on your own device, to find your face and place the frames on it. We don't record it, keep it or send it to ourselves or anyone else, and the camera turns off as soon as you close the try-on. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser's settings.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the shop needs to work. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your comparison tray isn't a cookie: it stays in your browser for your visit and is never sent to us.
Your answers to the frame finder quiz also stay in your browser for your visit. They travel in the address of the results page, which is how we pick your frames, and we don't save them.
How we use your information
- To process, deliver and support your orders.
- To run your account, if you have one.
- To send our newsletter, only if you've subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your questions and handle returns and warranty claims.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores account and order information on our behalf.
- Delivery companies, who need your name and address to bring your order to you.
- Google, whose reviews and reviewer photos on the home page, and map on the contact page, load from its servers. It can see your IP address when they load.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we're required to for accounting and tax purposes. Account details stay until you ask us to close your account. Newsletter subscriptions end when you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can update your details and saved addresses at any time in your account. To make a request, email vistrooptique@gmail.com.

If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
